Cat Powell

Originally hailing from Maine, Cat came to San Diego after teaching fitness classes in Australia. She has taught weight training, HIIT, and Lagree classes, so she was stoked to find Infinite's blended format. As a Team Squat girlie, Cat's favorite (or least favorite??) exercise at Infinite is a heel lifted squat with a heavy weight. 

If you take her class, you'll push yourself until fatigue with heavier weighted movements while also utilizing slow-paced body weight flows to lengthen and strengthen smaller muscle groups. Cat will encourage you to safely test your strength so that you leave the studio sweaty, a bit wobbly, and ready for a healthy dose of soreness the next day.

When not in the studio, Cat can be found on the beach, hanging with her pup, baking delicious cakes for friends, or dreaming about her next adventure. Fun fact: Cat was bitten by a venomous sea snake while surfing in Bali (so if she can survive that, you can definitely survive the next "20 seconds" that's actually 40 seconds hidden by good tunes and encouragement).
